Your numbers
White Monsters today
2 cans · 300 mgEducational only. LD-50 is a population-level reference, not a guarantee of safety below it. Existing heart conditions, medications, and pregnancy can shift safe limits dramatically. If you suspect caffeine toxicity, call poison control (US: 1-800-222-1222) or 911.

How this works
This is an educational dose plotter, not a clearance to drink more caffeine. The math is simple: your bodyweight in kilograms, multiplied by the ergogenic, FDA, and LD-50 references, gives you four real numbers on one bar.
We show the LD-50 line not to encourage approaching it but to anchor the right edge of the bar to something measurable. The more useful zone is on the left, in the 3 to 6 mg per kilogram window where the lifting literature is consistent.
Convert bodyweight to kilograms
All caffeine reference numbers in published literature are in mg per kg, so we normalize your input first. Pounds are divided by 2.20462.
Compute the four reference doses
Lower ergogenic = 3 mg/kg. Upper ergogenic = 6 mg/kg. FDA daily cap = 400 mg (sex- and weight-independent). LD-50 reference = 175 mg/kg. The first two scale with you. The third is a flat ceiling. The fourth is a population-level toxicity reference.
Place today's dose on the bar
Each White Monster is 150 mg. Multiply by cans-today, divide by the LD-50 reference, and clamp at 100 percent for the marker position.
Pick the verdict
Six bands run from underdosed through ergogenic, past-useful, yellow, red, and hospital. The verdict copy reflects what your body is actually doing in each band, in coach voice.
If the marker lands on the right two bands, this calculator is the wrong tool for what is happening. Call poison control (1-800-222-1222 in the US) or 911. Do not lift heavy.
