How this works

There are five common ways a lifting program dies. The Overshooter writes checks their recovery cannot cash. The Ghost has a scheduling problem disguised as a willpower problem. The Punisher reads effort as the only signal. The Shapeshifter mistakes novelty for progress. The Silent Lifter does not log in a way that lets the program learn.

The diagnostic surfaces which one is yours by asking five questions whose answers tag one or two of these archetypes. The dominant pattern wins.

  1. Answer five questions honestly

Each question targets a different stress point in a typical training year: how you pick weights, how the week breaks, how you respond to sleep, how many programs you have started, and which honest sentence stings.

  2. Each answer scores 2 points

Single-archetype answers concentrate. Dual-archetype answers split. The total is the same. What differs is which archetype gets the credit.

  3. The leader is your dominant pattern

We rank all five and surface the dominant one, but the breakdown shows you the runners-up. The runner-up is often the symptom of the leader. Read both diagnoses.

If you tied across multiple archetypes, the diagnosis is the same regardless of which one we surface: your program failure had a pattern, and the pattern is fixable.

Common questions

Each option in each question is tagged with one or two of the five archetypes. Single-tag options score 2 points to that archetype. Two-tag options score 1 point to each. Every answer adds exactly 2 points total. Highest tally at the end wins.
