Meet Your Coach. It Doesn't Just Talk. It Does the Work.

Meet Your Coach. It Doesn't Just Talk. It Does the Work.
Most fitness AIs are search engines with a personality. You ask, they tell. You go figure out what to do next.
This one is different in one specific way: it takes actions.
You say "tweaked my shoulder, drop the overhead presses this week." It updates your profile, modifies this week's training, and shows you the new schedule. Three actions in one sentence.
That's the whole point of a coach. Not advice. Execution.
Coach Chat requires Standard or Concierge tier. Here's everything it can do.
It chains actions in a single message
You don't have to spell out each step. The coach reasons through what you asked and chains the tool calls needed to actually finish it.
Say "I tweaked my shoulder, adjust my program to avoid overhead pressing, and show me what this week looks like now." The coach:
- Updates your injury flags to include shoulder.
- Modifies this week's program, swapping or removing overhead movements.
- Pulls your updated weekly overview.
- Returns the new schedule as a structured workout card, not a wall of text.
One ask. Multiple actions. Real changes to your account.

What the coach can change
Your training program
- Show today's workout with every exercise, sets, reps, RPE targets, and recommended weights.
- Show your weekly overview with all training days and focus areas.
- Reschedule a workout to a different day. If both days had sessions, they swap automatically.
- Modify the whole program when you ask for things like "more side delt work" or "switch me to upper-lower." The coach runs a full weekly adjustment respecting your equipment, injuries, and experience.
- Add, remove, or change training days. New days get exercises auto-generated for your profile.
- Modify your mesocycle. Change week themes (hypertrophy, strength, deload), insert deload weeks, add or remove training weeks.
Your nutrition
- Update your calorie or macro targets. Significant changes trigger meal plan regeneration.
- Pull meal plan details for any day: ingredients, portions, macros, recipes.
- Log food on your behalf. "I just had two eggs and toast" gets estimated, logged, and reflected in your daily progress.
- Log a planned meal. Tell the coach you ate today's scheduled lunch and the macros log instantly.
- Swap a meal. The coach generates options that hit your macro targets and executes the swap.
- Regenerate your meal plan. A fresh plan is ready in 30 to 60 seconds.
- Adjust portions, drop snacks, or change preferences. Future plans inherit the new settings.
- Show your daily nutrition snapshot, grocery list, or any recipe.
Your progress
- Weekly summary. Workouts completed vs planned, average RPE, sleep, fatigue, current streak.
- Exercise history. Last 10 sessions for any movement with weight, reps, RPE per set.
- Personal records. Heaviest lifts across exercises with enough sessions to be meaningful.
- Streaks and achievements. Current streak, longest streak, badges earned.
- Bodyweight. Log a new weight through chat. The coach records it, computes your delta, and flags whether you're on track for your goal.
- Trends. Four-week trends for bodyweight, adherence, and heart rate.
Your full context
The coach pulls your complete profile on demand so its advice stays grounded:
- Physical stats (weight, height, age, body fat, experience, goals, equipment).
- Injuries and limitations (always referenced, never overridden).
- Your full program structure.
- Your health snapshot (steps, calories, HR, HRV) if you've connected Apple Health or Health Connect.
You get rich responses, not walls of text
The coach returns structured cards when visual display works better than prose:
- Workout-of-the-day cards with sets, reps, weights.
- Meal plan cards with ingredients and macros.
- Nutrition target displays with progress bars.
- Bodyweight sparklines with delta calculations.
- Personal record celebrations.
- Meal swap confirmations comparing old vs new macros side by side.
When the coach is just answering a question, you get text. When the coach is showing you something with structure, you get a card.
The coach remembers your last conversation
Your coach has memory across conversations. Previous sessions get compressed into structured summaries that show up as context in future chats.
Mentioned a knee issue three weeks ago? The coach still knows. Asked for more hamstring volume last month? It references that when reviewing your program.
The coach also retrieves your creator's training methodology via RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). When your coach was trained by a specific creator who uploaded their philosophy, you get advice grounded in that philosophy instead of generic internet fitness wisdom.
Voice in, voice out
You don't have to type to talk to your coach.
Voice notes. Tap the mic and record a message up to about 60 seconds. The app transcribes via Whisper and feeds the transcript to the coach. Useful when you're between sets and don't want to type. Rate-limited at 30 voice notes per hour and 150 per day.
Voice replies. The coach can speak back. Tap the speaker icon on any message and the text generates audio in your coach's voice. Rate-limited at 60 TTS plays per hour.
These rate limits are generous for normal use and exist to prevent runaway costs.
What the coach won't do
A few things are non-negotiable.
No medical diagnoses or prescriptions. The coach is not a doctor. Symptoms get redirected to your doctor.
No banned substances. Anabolic steroids, SARMs, prohormones, DNP, ephedra. Hard refuse.
No off-topic conversations. Every message passes through an input guard. Off-topic or harmful messages get redirected back to fitness.
No bypassing your injury flags. If your profile says shoulder injury, you can't get the coach to program overhead pressing by asking nicely.
What makes this different from ChatGPT
| | General AI | Your Coach | |---|------------|------------| | Your data | Knows nothing about you | Connected to your profile, program, nutrition, history | | Actions | Can only suggest | Modifies your program, logs food, swaps meals | | Methodology | Generic knowledge | Grounded in your creator's methodology via RAG | | Responses | Text paragraphs | Structured cards plus text | | Memory | Forgets between sessions | Retains context across conversations | | Safety | General filters | Fitness-specific input guard, injury awareness |
It's not a smarter search engine. It's an integrated system that owns your data, takes real actions, and runs on your creator's coaching playbook.
What to do next
Open Coach Chat. Type one thing you've been meaning to ask or change for the last week. Hit send.
The coach will either answer immediately or run the actions needed to actually fix the thing.
