Managing Your Account: Profile, Billing, Data, Privacy

Managing Your Account: Profile, Billing, Data, Privacy
Everything you need to manage your account lives in your Profile tab.
This guide is the short reference for what each setting does, where to find it, and what changes the moment you flip it.
Updating your profile
Your profile drives every calculation in the app. Training volume. Nutrition targets. Exercise selection. Coaching tone. Update it from your Profile tab.
What you can change:
- Name and age. Your coach uses your name in conversation. Age factors into recovery recommendations.
- Height and weight. Metric or imperial. If a weight update shifts your estimated calorie needs by 200 kcal or more, your meal plan regenerates automatically.
- Activity level. Directly affects your TDEE and daily calorie target.
- Goal. Changing your fitness goal triggers adjustments to your program and macro split.
- Experience level. Affects training volume, exercise complexity, and progression speed.
- Coach. Switch coaches anytime. Your new coach picks up with full context of your history.
- Injuries. Add new flags or mark existing ones as healed. Exercise selection adjusts immediately.
- Meal preferences. Update dietary restrictions or cuisine preferences anytime. Changes trigger meal plan regeneration.
Changes save instantly. Updates that affect your program or nutrition plan trigger recalculations in the background.

Notification preferences
You control exactly which notifications fire. Open your Profile tab and find Notifications.
Each category toggles independently:
- Morning workout tips. Pre-workout focus cues and warm-up reminders.
- Missed workout reminders. Evening nudge if you skip a scheduled session.
- Overeating alerts. Check-in when your food log goes over target.
- Coach tips and insights. Pattern-based advice from your training, sleep, and nutrition data.
- Weekly reports. End-of-week summary of volume, adherence, progress.
- Goal milestone updates. PRs, streaks, milestone alerts.
- Rest day guidance. Recovery and mobility suggestions on off days.
- Streak and consistency alerts. Encouragement when momentum builds, nudge when consistency slips.
Accountability level
Below the toggles, set how aggressive you want the coach.
- Gentle. Infrequent, encouraging.
- Moderate. Balanced. The default.
- Direct. Frequent, will call out missed workouts by name.
The accountability level also caps your daily notification volume regardless of how many triggers fire.
All changes take effect immediately.
Subscription management
View your current plan and billing status under Profile → Subscription.
Upgrading takes effect immediately with prorated billing. You pay the difference for the remaining cycle.
Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then.
Canceling keeps your subscription active through the end of the current period, then drops you to Free automatically. Your data is preserved completely. Workout history, food logs, programs, chat history. All of it stays.
If you cancel and later want to come back, your account is exactly where you left it.
Billing and receipts
All payments process securely through Stripe. The app never sees your full card number. Tap Manage Billing to open Stripe's customer portal for receipts, payment method updates, and billing history.
Password and security
- Change your password from Profile → Security or the dedicated change-password page.
- Social login. If you signed up with Google or Apple, you keep using that method. No separate password needed.
- Sessions. Your session refreshes automatically. You stay signed in across app restarts. Signing out terminates the session on that device.
- Secure by default. All communication is HTTPS. Tokens expire and rotate.
Your data and privacy
Your data belongs to you. It's protected at every layer.
What we store. Workout history, food logs, check-ins, chat conversations, training programs, meal plans, health snapshots, and any explicit notes you've left for the coach.
Data persistence. Your data is never deleted because of a subscription change. Downgrade to Free and every record stays intact. Upgrade later and pick up where you left off.
Row-Level Security. Database-level isolation. No other user, no unauthenticated request, no one else's session can access your records. This is enforced in the database, not just the application layer.
Never sold, never shared. Health data and training data are not used for advertising, never sold to third parties, never shared outside the systems that serve your coaching.
Deleting your account
If you want everything wiped, contact support to request full account deletion.
This permanently removes all your data: profile, training programs, workout history, food logs, meal plans, chat history, check-ins, nutrition plans, health snapshots.
This cannot be undone. Once processed, there is no way to recover any of it.
Cancel any active subscription before requesting deletion to avoid being billed after your account is gone.
Getting help
For most questions about your program, nutrition, or progress, ask the coach directly in chat. "Why did my calories change?" or "What's my squat progress?" pulls your real data and answers in seconds.
For billing questions or account issues the coach can't resolve, use Profile → Help or email support directly.
What to do next
Open your Profile tab right now.
Look at your injury flags. Look at your activity level. Look at your accountability level. If any of those are stale (you flagged an injury that healed, you've gotten busier or less busy at work, your accountability level isn't matching how you actually respond to nudges), update them.
The changes propagate to your training and notifications within minutes.
