How Your Program Rebuilds Itself Every Week

Most fitness apps hand you a 12-week plan on day one and never look at it again.

Bad sleep? Plan doesn't care. Crushed your sessions? Plan doesn't notice. Skipped two workouts because life happened? Plan moves on without you.

This program isn't that.

Every week, the engine analyzes how your body actually responded to last week, and it rewrites the upcoming week to match. Volume goes up where you can handle it. Volume pulls back where you cannot. Exercises rotate when one stalls. Deloads fire when fatigue accumulates.

You don't have to ask. You don't have to remember. Just train and check in, and the program evolves around you.

What the engine actually reads

The adjustment looks at four weeks of data for trend analysis. One bad sleep night doesn't move anything. A pattern across multiple weeks does.

Training performance. Every set you logged. RPE per exercise and per week. Volume per muscle group. Workout completion rate. PRs hit. Weight stalls flagged.

Recovery signals. From your daily check-ins. Sleep hours averaged with trend tracking. Fatigue ratings. Stress ratings. Soreness scores. The composite readiness score.

Nutrition and bodyweight. Macro adherence from your food logs. Bodyweight trends using a 7-day rolling average so a single fluke weigh-in doesn't trigger a change.

Health platform data (optional). If you've connected Apple Health or Health Connect, HRV trends, resting heart rate, daily steps, and active calories all feed the analysis. Not required. Sharper decisions when available.

Your chat feedback. Anything you told the coach during the week. "My shoulder bugged me on overhead press" or "I need Thursday moved to Saturday." The system extracts structured feedback from your conversations and feeds it forward.

How the engine makes decisions

Data comes in. The engine produces a specific adjustment plan with reasoning for every change.

It evaluates:

Missed workouts and why. A scheduling conflict gets treated differently than knee pain. The system uses your chat feedback to disambiguate.

RPE trends. Rising RPE at constant loads = fatigue accumulating. Declining RPE = readiness for progression. Stable RPE at target = stay the course.

Multi-week fatigue accumulation. Not just this week. The trend.

Sleep and stress impact. Chronic sleep deprivation or high stress fundamentally alters your recovery capacity. The engine adjusts accordingly.

Nutrition adherence. Missing protein or calorie targets caps how aggressively the engine can program volume.

Schedule changes. Modifications you communicated through chat are honored, not overridden.

Volume vs landmarks. Actual weekly sets per muscle group are compared against MEV, MAV, and MRV for your experience level.

The systemic fatigue guardrail

This is a hard-coded rule the engine cannot override.

If your average weekly sleep drops below 6 hours OR your average weekly stress exceeds 7 out of 10, working sets are cut by 20 to 30 percent and heavy compound work is blocked.

Non-negotiable. Sleep deprivation impairs protein synthesis and raises injury risk. Chronic stress elevates cortisol and suppresses the anabolic processes training is supposed to trigger. The engine cannot propose volume increases under these conditions even if everything else looks great.

This is the digital equivalent of a great coach saying "we're backing off this week, no arguments." Sleep and stress recover, volume scales back up.

Volume landmark compliance

The engine compares your actual weekly sets per muscle group against three thresholds calibrated to your experience level.

MEV (Minimum Effective Volume). The floor. Below this, you're not stimulating growth. Below MEV triggers a volume increase.

MAV (Maximum Adaptive Volume). The sweet spot. Maximum growth per unit of effort. Stay here.

MRV (Maximum Recoverable Volume). The ceiling. Beyond this, recovery cannot keep up. Approaching MRV triggers a hold. Exceeding it triggers a mandatory cut.

These thresholds differ by muscle group and training age. A beginner's MRV for chest might be 12 sets a week. An advanced lifter's might be 20 or more. The engine knows yours.

What you'll actually notice

The adjustment runs in the background. You see the results in your program for next week.

After a strong week (everything completed, manageable RPE, solid sleep, PRs hit): more volume on lagging muscle groups, continued progressive overload, possibly an exercise rotation to fight staleness.

After a tough week (poor sleep, high stress, climbing RPE): fewer sets, softer intensity targets, your recovery budget respected.

When you gave specific feedback: the requested change applied. Told the coach your knee hurt on lunges? Lunges replaced.

When fatigue accumulated: a deload inserted. Never before week 4 of progressive training. Always by week 6.

When nutrition shifted: if your calorie target moved by 200 kcal or more, your meal plan regenerates automatically.

You don't manually adjust sets, reps, or exercises. Train. Check in honestly. The data does the work.

What to do next

Open the Stats tab. Find the weekly report. Read what changed for this week and why.

If the change is wrong (the coach added back work but your back has been overworked, say), open Coach Chat and tell the coach. The next adjustment will incorporate the feedback.
